Project Update

I¹d like to suggest that a project update be issues at least one per month
so that everyone is in the loop. It would be really helpful if the update
contained the following info:

Status of the board. Whats working and what still needs work.
Status of Linux kernel. What is in mainline and what is still patched
Status of distributions (Debian, Yocto, etc)
Planned beta test date
Planned launch date

Regards,

John

I¹d like to suggest that a project update be issues at least one per month
so that everyone is in the loop. It would be really helpful if the update
contained the following info:

Status of the board. Whats working and what still needs work.

Status of Linux kernel. What is in mainline and what is still patched

Mainline (v3.17-rc3) should boot now:

Status of distributions (Debian, Yocto, etc)

Debian/Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.14.17-ti-r16

wip dts:

Yocto:

Planned beta test date
Planned launch date

These last two got delayed, something about the doc's were not ready..

Regards,

Nobody but me is working on the project. Beta version is in layout. All documentation is under NDA by TI. Until that gets fixed, well you figure it out. This documentation issue is also affecting upstream patches.
