Hello,
I found a way to install Cloud9, bonescript, and the sockets to make them work (so I thought).
…
Does anyone know how to install the Cloud9 IDE, bonescript, and all the sockets to make them work?
Seth
P.S. I found this site “useful” but to no avail: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34761175/install-cloud9-on-beaglebone-debian. The last answer is what I listened to regarding sudo apt install.
What are you installing Cloud9 on? (distro, and nodejs version..)
Cloud9 is dead upstream (not maintained), barely works, and the
install script is a hack0ish mess..

Hello,
I am installing Cloud9 on a BBGW w/ the updated image on the bbb.io/latest-images page. I updated my kernel w/ one of the scripts from /opt/scripts/tools/.
Seth
P.S. I will erase it. No issue. If it is needing some fresh people to install things and test stuff out, I might not be the one to hack into it to try things out.

It's already installed by default..
Save your self some pain, and just grab the latest IoT image:

PS, Tomorrow is the 1st, so there will be a new Stretch Snapshot..

Hello Sir,
Okay. When you typed out, “Erase What?,” I figured I should reply again. I will erase/remove this command, sudo apt install c9-core-installer, with this command, sudo apt remove c9-core-installer. Then, I used sudo apt autoremove.

Oh and right-o. March 1st! A new beginning, I have a ton of work already done on this board. I do not want to risk errors until after the local Maker Faire.
Seth
P.S. I will get the updated image later on in the month. Thank you for replying. Oh and when you typed, “It’s already installed by default…,” I erased it listening to another person once upon a time. I lost bonescript, cloud9 IDE, and the sockets that made them work.
Hello,
I forgot something particular about installing the cloud9 and bonescript language via apt on debian 4.14.x. B/c of one of your questions, which nodejs version, I remembered I installed a new release candidate for nodejs.
Seth
P.S. But. Do not fret, I will update my image soon. No issues here any longer.
