Jason,
I am trying to get the Beagle B3 board I have up and running, as well
as the XM. The XM is running now. The B3 came to me from XXX
in XXX, but with no software on it. I am trying to
load from the following
site: Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.

The instructions are newer on Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting., but the instructions haven't been fully tested against older boards. The biggest issue is that the ramdisk image has now grown to be too large for the smaller memory boards.
My problem is that almost every link on the page is broken. Is there
another place I can go that has active and working links on it?
[Jason K]
Use Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.. Those instructions even work with Bx boards.
On the xm side I would like to test the Ethernet interface but have not
found a test to do it in the diagnostics page. It is highly likely
that something is there and I just don't have the nomenclature right
yet, and I am not able to find it. Can you point me in the right
direction?
[Jason K]
You are right, there isn't an Ethernet diagnostic test documented yet. If your network supports DHCP, then you should automatically get an IP address and you should be able to ping your gateway. Given the additional hardware required to make a stable test, do you have any suggestions? Shall we assume a router with a DHCP host?
