Realtek RTL8211F-VD-CG component substitution

The RTL8211F-VD-CG is specified in the BeaglePlay BOM, but it seems to be difficult to find. There is a non “VD” version available, the RTL8211F-CG. I can not find any information that describes the difference between the 2 transceivers, and Realtek is non-responsive. I need to know if the 2 components are interchangeable, or if I need to make design and/or firmware changes to use the non “VD” version instead of the specified RTL8211F-VD-CG
