reduce power consumption of BBB

Hello,

is it possible to reduce the power consumption of the BeagleBone Black ?
Maybe by disabling the HDMI-framer or something else ?

I want to use the BBB in a low power consumption device for measuring wireless traffic data.
For this application I don’t need GPU.

There is no power off bit for the HDMI, but, if you don’t drive LCD data into it, it does go into a reduced power mode.

Slow down the processor speed.
Do not use Ethernet.
Turn off the status LEDs.
Turn of USB power.
