rt2800usb firmware package not avail via opkg

Hi
I am running Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.05-beaglebone-2012.05.09

uname -a

Linux beaglebone 3.2.18 #1 Wed May 30 14:21:54 CEST 2012 armv7l GNU/Linux

I am trying to get my USB wifi adapter working, it’s a TL-WN321G. I had it working with an older ubuntu release, but moving over to a newer angstrom has left me without Wifi.

The firmware package does not seem to be available for this release, dmesg says

[ 18.071149] usbcore: registered new interface driver rt2800usb
[ 20.057490] phy0 → rt2x00lib_request_firmware: Error - Failed to request Firmware.

and opkg says:

opkg install rt73-firmware

Unknown package ‘rt73-firmware’.

I found a package rt73-firmware_1.8-r1.9_all.ipk that I downloaded and installed but it didn’t have any visible effect : opkg list showed it but dmesg showed the same mesage “Failed to request firmware”

Anyone:
Is there a version of this package for this release, or am I mistaken about this being the issue?

Thanks

The rt2800 firmware, along with a bunch of other firmware, is in the
linux-firmware package

Thanks Igor - that did it, with a --force-overwrite
