Running 88W9098 PCIE WiFi chipset on BeagleBoard AI-64

Hello,

I am trying to run a WiFi module based on NXP 88W9098 chipset on my BBAI-64 board. With 88W8997 PCIE, the WiFi works just fine. But with 88W9098, my BBAI-64 does not even successfully boot. I am running kernel 6.1.83. Does anyone have the same issue or similar experience?

Hi @rahmanuh can you share the module part number? Is it available on Amazon for order?

Hi Robert, I tested using the following WiFi module

I am not sure if Amazon has it.
