I would like to know if some person has already ran a java algorithm at the beagle.
I need to know what packages I need to install, and if I need something else.
I have googled it and I haven’t found anything interesting.

Oracle has released JDK for ARM( I guess only binary) in August and as per their blog , it binary can be run in any linux distro and various development boards such as - Beagleboard, Pandaboard etc.

OpenJDK runs well under ubuntu and ansgtrom in both BB and PB, install the packages related with openJDK (jre, jdk) and be patient because it takes a lot of time to download and install
