Hi there, i have made the beaglebone black rev 4 myself but the sd card reader i bought didnt match the board desgin so therefore didnt fit. Does anyone know the correct part i need so i can add it on.
Saw your message on discord. Which PCB design did you follow? If you built the design prior to RevC3/RevD, you will not find the older Alps microSD cage available anywhere. (one of the main changes and reason the PCB had to be updated.)

Do you know of any ways to get the board to boot without using the ad card slot then, I was going to try a USB to ttl uart cable connecting to the pin headers, not sure if this works though.
Serial bootloader, that’s what the CCCC’s out of the uart are for.. or USB boot…
