SD size limit?

hi...I was using a beagleboard rev b5 always with 2Gb cards and they
work fine, recently I bought a new beagle rev c4 and whenever I insert
a 2Gb card (that worked in my rev b5) in the reader it says mmc is not
avaible...could it be the version of my u-boot?? I thought since rev
c4 is newer, its u-boot would come also newer...it is 2009.11-rc1

I don't think so. I have a BB C4 working nicely here with several cards
with 2,4 and 8Gb, all Sandisk tough.

Yes, you might have to use the new u-boot with a new card. Try the one that you get from the demo images or whatever you got from the latest build.
I believe you are using the older 2GB card (with the same contents, and hence the same u-boot as you used for rev-b5). If you are using the new u-boot on an old card, then maybe its an issue with the card.
