Serial debug cable

Hello!

I want to debug the boot sequence.
But I unterstand not exactly the requirements.
Can I connect from my PC via RS232 on the Pin 1,4,5?

Or is this a special RS232?

That would be a big mistake. The BBB serial is 3v3 TTL, not RS232 which is ±12V. Use the USB to 3v3TTL adapter referenced in the BBB System Reference Manual.
