Stopping boot from SD card

Hi, I am wondering if there is any change I can make to the kernel or device tree files or other files within our on board image stored in EMMc to prevent future people installing a bootable sd card and mounting our emmc storage to get arround our system passwords. I would like to try to prevent the operation of the sd card slot just during boot however as we would like to be able to store files to a blank sd card. If the only way to stop the ingress is to completely shut down SD card access that is fine too. Thank you in advanced for any help that you can provide in this matter. We are using a am3358 currently running the debian IOT image from beagleboard.com for 10.3 I believe and the cat /etc/dogtag file reads: BeagleBoard.org Debian Buster IoT Image 2020-04-06.

Hi @elliottlyons sorry, nope nothing quick and easy.

If your worried about it, either depopulate the microSD, or encase it in glue.
