Struck at GPRS

Hi All,
I am new to BB and trying to learn it on linux.
My friend is doing his GPRS project. He is struck at a place and i am
not able to help him out.
Hence i thought of using our group for some help.

For his prjt he is using SIM300 modem with GPRS activated sim card. He
is able to connect with GOOGLE server through SIM300 modem via AT
Commands He is able to download there default page, not only of
google but of any server mean web server. he had purchased a STATIC IP
also.
Problem arises when he want to connect his modem with his PC which is
having static ip.
He dont know how can he can send his data to server.Whenever he
connect his modem to his IP it show connect ok and get close after few
second. Even after installing IIS the problem persist.

Basically i am learning LINUX Kernel Programming on BB.But i am not in
position to help him at this step.
If any one of you can help him, even i can then learn that project.

Thank You
Ashish

Can you browse the PC from other PCs? This sounds more like an IIS problem than a BeagleBoard problem.
