Stuck in "E:read, 989 read but none left" when installing debian wheezy to bbb

So, I'm brand new to Linux, but I understand the process of flashing. I've tried many other distros, wanted to try Debian wheezy. So, I went through the process, and, as I wanted a desktop, opted for formatting, resizing the microsd.
Upon rebooting, installing aptitude, tassel, and finally gnome desktop, I receive the "E: read 989 read but none left" message in a continuous loop in terminal. Any suggestions as to what is going on with the installation? Is that normal?
I'm sure I've left out pertinent information, so please, help me help you help me. Thank you
