TI EdgeAI 8.5 update in Debian 12 Bookworm

Are there any plans to update the EDGEAI SDK8.5 in the debian12 bookworm ?

I am unable to search for edgeai in apt search after flashing debian12.

I was wondering if there are any plans to update edgeai in BBAI-64

After EDGEAI 8.2 TI added some python libraries built for python3.8 in binary form. I’ve been talking with TI to update bits in yocto to be put back in source form…

EdgeAI 8.x series was based on the v5.10.x-ti kernel, i’m planning to limit that to Debian 11.x… For Debian 12.x (Bookworm) i’m planning to follow v6.1.x-ti and EdgeAI 9.x series.

I went to the TI homepage for the first time in a while and saw that version 9.0.1 had been released.
I want to know when edgeai 9.0 will be supported on AI-64.

Today I flashed a micro SD card with BBAI64 Debian 12.6 2024-07-03 XFCE

First of all, Xfce doesn’t start on boot. I had to ‘apt install xinit’ and ‘systemctl enable lightdm’.

But more importantly for this thread: there is no package for ti-edge-ai? Any idea when this will come?

lightdm only get’s enabled on second bootup, if you set your user-password in sysconf.txt…
