uClinux

The uClinux Distribution build requires the specification of the
target device and provides the following list.

Has anyone tried the uClinux distribution and if so, which target
configuration did they determine was suitable for the OMAP3530?

Thanks,
Bevan Thistlethwaite

Bevan, uClinux is tailored to mmu-less micro-controllers. Use the
standard mainline kernel and take advantage of the mmu provided with
the cortex-a8 in the Omap3530.

It's been building a number targets with MMU's for years. It just
happens to also support mmu-less targets It uses the standard kernel
tree and it supported the Intel ixp4xx quite nicely before OE and
bitbake were around

I haven't used the uclinux distro for the OMAP either. Until there is
a verified build you'll want to stick with OE/BB
