Using Beagle Board with Optoma Pk301

HI,

I am thinking of using the Beagle board with Optoma Pk301 instead of
the pico kit v2 because I already have the Pk301. My first question
is can it be used with the beagle board? Also, do you know if there
is another way around controlling the functions of the Optoma Pk301
projector?
