  so now we have ".xz" versus ".img.xz" files, and what does the
versioning "v2013.06-2013.09.12" mean? some kind of aggregate of
previous versions?

I suggest you as Koen. I mean, that is his site. Of course I keep telling people to use the official builds and no the interim test images. Then again. Why should anyone listen to me.
