Which Pico Projector to buy

Hello,
I wanted to buy a Pico Projector to work with my BB -xM, the TI's DLP
Pico projector kit looks and sounds wonderful but a little bit costly
for my pocket @ $349.

Having said that I found two other candidates for my purchase, WowWee
Cinemin Swivel [1] ($149) and Optoma PK201[2] ($250) pico projectors.
Cinemin swivel can take VGA using a adapter whereas, Optoma PK201 can
take a HDMI input (as much I can understand from the feature set given
on there website, see below).

My question is that if anyone has worked with any other pico
projectors (including the one listed above) other then the TI's kit
with the BB -xM ? Image quality, battery backup, driver issues, etc.
Also can we use the TI's Pico projector kit with our laptops (with
HDMI output).

Thanks,
Jay

Hi,

what about the Aiptek T20? Goes for ~$50 on ebay and connects via USB.

Also can we use the TI's Pico projector kit with our laptops (with
HDMI output).

A while ago I did indeed use TI Pico Projector on a Linux notebook as a secondary display (funny, it was not recognized by Windows Vista on same hardware).

TI DLP sucks up to 900mA @ 5V: IMHO it’s not that suited for battery operation.

My only problem is that the DLP Pico does not have holes/mountpoints to attach it to something.
