Have anyone realized that element14(Farnell/Newark), Digikey and Mouser does not have BBB in stock?
Understand that in the latest AaE session, Adafruit stated that the Ti is’t producing enough Sitara chips.
I just called the element14 branch in Singapore and they gave me some boilertext answer that the next shipment of BBB will be available in 30 weeks. Mouser states 8 weeks lead time.
If anyone needs one, adafruit will restock its supply of BBB in 2 - 3 weeks. Its based on the latest rev → (B). Only one can be purchased at a time though. http://www.adafruit.com/products/1278

They keep getting boards, but they immediately ship to their backlog. Special Computing and Adafruit aren’t taking orders on backlog, so it is possible to jump the queue by monitoring as soon as boards become available. Both had boards all day yesterday.

Bottlenecks include other part acquisition and board assembly, not TI processors per se. I attended the AaE session in the IRC chat and I did not hear them say that.
