Hi, is BB wifi dual-band?

No, the BeagleBone Black Wireless and Green Wireless use the "wl1835"
which is 2.4Ghz only.. You need the "wl1837" chipset from TI for 2.4
+ 5.0 Ghz..

Or an external usb wireless that supports 5Ghz..
