Hi All,
I have been trying to get my beaglebone black working on WIndows 8.1 for some time now. Windows is not recognizing the board because the Linux USB Ethernet/RNDIS Gadget drivers are not functioning properly. The error shown in device manager is as follows “This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)”
I have tried multiple iterations of uninstalling all drivers, rebooting Windows 8.1 and ensuring that unsigned driver installation is enabled, re installing drivers and confirming “YES” to all prompts and retrying to browse to 192.168.7.2 or SSH to that ip via putty.I have not been able to get the machine to recoginze my BBB.
I had everything working great on my Windows 7 box this morning at work.
Anyone see this behavior or have any further troubleshooting steps? I have googled extensively and am coming up short.
