has anyone used cs-gpios for non dedicated spi chip select pins on pocketbeagle 2 ?
it’s been a while, but i think it worked with beaglebone black.

yes, after several tries and was really working, but I’m facing some issues with spi devices, and to really have working I had to run spidev_test before ardupilot and I’m using the default spi dev as

ya, your using the dedicated spi chip select pins
ti,spi-num-cs = <3>;
when using the cs-gpios, you should be able to use any gpio pins as chip select pins.
i have things working with the dedicated spi chip select pins. but to optimize layout i wanted to use other gpio pins a the chip select pins. (hope that make sense)

I am using the SPI0 bus (using SPIDEV) for an application and want to use the P9_12 as an additional chip select in the Beagle Bone Black Wireless. I have changed the universal-cape-00A0.dts file to include an option to configure p9.12 as spi_cs. However, whenever I want to run the program the pin does not work as a chip select.

thanks for the info. but
i have used cs-gpios in the past and it worked, it just does not seem to be working with pb2.
